Only about 15% of used clothes and other textiles in the United States get reused or recycled. The other 85% head straight to the landfill. That’s where Wecycle NYC comes in.

Clothing Exchange
Program - for Ecommerce and Fashion Retailers
How it works:
1. Pack - Pack up the items you wish to donate in a box or bag.
2. Print - Print your FREE shipping label, seal the box and attach the label.
3. Post - Post your packaged recyclables at your local UPS drop-off location and wish them bon voyage!
4. Your free shipping label enables your gently used clothes, shoes and accessories to begin their journey to a new life.
In-store Collection Program – Fashion Brands
How it works:
1. Bring any unwanted gently worn clothes to one of our stores.
2. Hand in your bag of used clothes at the register and receive a thank-you coupon to use toward your next purchase. Easy!
3. Once you’ve dropped off your previously loved fashion in one of our collection Wecyclers, our partner will empty the boxes and repurpose the clothing closing the loop in circular fashion.
Reuse: If the clothes are not suitable for rewear, they’re turned into other products, such as wiping cloths.
Recycle: All other clothes are shredded into textile fibers and used to make, for example, insulation materials and furniture.
